WPM manages nearly 25,000 homes in the Mid-Atlantic region, so there’s always exciting news to report about our people and properties.
For the 10th consecutive year, WPM Real Estate Management has been honored as a Top Workplace in the Baltimore area by The Baltimore Sun. One of the Mid-Atlantic region’s premier property management companies, WPM ranked eighth overall among Large Employers in the region. WPM President James Dahlgren, Jr., also was recognized with the Leadership Award for Large Employers, for businesses with more than 400 employees.
“Receiving the Top Workplace recognition consistently for 10 years is a huge honor,” exclaims WPM Dahlgren. “It really speaks to the strong desire and commitment our Associates have to creating a supportive and performance-driven culture where everyone has the opportunity to contribute, to grow and to excel. Our shared belief that together we can achieve more extends not only to our work with each other and our clients, but to the impact we can have collectively within the community.”
The Top Workplaces awards recognize the most dynamic and supportive area companies, based solely on employee surveys. Companies must employ at least 50 people in the Baltimore metro area and may be public, private, nonprofit or governmental, and could be nominated by anyone. Employee surveys are conducted by a third-party employee research and consulting firm, Energage, and cover topics such as training, work/life balance, company values and leadership, employee appreciation, compensation, retention, and motivation. To identify the Baltimore region’s Top Workplaces, Energage analyzed the data, scoring and ranking the results and dividing employers into small, midsize and large categories. Individuals identified as top leaders were recognized with a Leadership Award by category.
